Samsung Unveil 2 New Smartphones The Galaxy Ace 2 And The Galaxy Mini 2

Anyone would think there was Mobile World Congress (MWC) just around the corner and about to start this weekend in Barcelona.... Oh wait a tic!

It seems all mobile phone manufacturers are tripping over themselves to get their newest and most desirable handsets out in the public domain.

Samsung have come out with a double helping of new phones in the guise of the new Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2.

The Galaxy Ace 2 sports a 3.8-inch WVGA display, an 800MHz processor, a 5 MP camera and 4GB of on-board storage which is expandable with a microSD card.

The Galaxy Mini 2 will sport a 3.27-inch HVGA screen, an 800MHz processor, a 3 MP camera and again 4GB of on-board storage which is also expandable with a microSD card.

Both of these new devices will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and sport Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 connectivity.

Pricing and release dates are yet to be confirmed, however both phones are expected in the UK in spring 2012.
